Our Rent Receipt services are invaluable in providing protection and advice for landlords. If a landlord lives overseas, or has various properties, and a tenant does not pay, it can be incredibly stressful and time consuming. We understand that logistics, and a lack of legal knowledge can extend the process longer than necessary and this is where we can step in and help minimise the disruption to you. These services are not only for landlords renting out more than one property, we regularly assist landlords owning just one property, who are time poor or just prefer to have the security that our support provides.
Premier lettings can do all the hard work for you, starting with conducting a rental valuation and marketing the property. We can then arrange viewings, interview prospective tenants and undertake credit checks and referencing. We prepare the tenancy agreement and transfer the deposit in accordance with the Tenancy Deposit Protection Legislation. Premier Lettings will arrange the monthly rent collection from the tenants into our client account and once the funds have cleared, we will transfer the net sum to the account specified by the landlord and provide a monthly statement.
Rent Receipts are especially useful in any instances where payment is not received on time. We chase and pursue all non-payment of rent. Our team will contact the tenant in the event of late payment, via telephone and written correspondence, to demand immediate payment. In the unlikely event of the rent falling into arrears by two installments, we will support you and advise you on the legal procedure for the termination of the tenancy.
